Dear Neighbors:

    It is with great sadness that I report the death of Jim Patterson on Thursday, October 9.  Jim and Barbara lived for more than twenty years at 40 Barque Hill Drive. They could often be seen walking in our neighborhood, cheerfully saying "hello" to any who passed and especially to the children who stopped by their house on Halloween.

    They were also keenly interested in our Association, attending our annual meetings and offering helpful suggestions and humor. We will miss Jim.

    Our Association will make a donation in his name, in accordance with his wishes, to the Visiting Nurses Association of Norwell.
