 Shipyard
Park is a 10.2 acre park available to Barque Hill
Association members and their guests. It
contains a large field, a comfortable bench, and a
backstop for softball games. It also has a
large amount of wooded river frontage.
There is an unpaved drive down to a boat landing,
with a marker that commemorates the historic
Fox Hill
Shipyard, for which the park is named.
This area is available to Association members for
launching small boats, canoes, kayaks, etc.
Because this is Association property, the entrance
to the drive is locked. Each of the
Association Directors has a key. If you'd
like to use the ramp, please contact one of the
directors.
